BISCUITS FROM PRATO
Ingredients
100gr of almonds or walnuts or hazelnuts,1 egg and 2 yolks,200gr of flour,120gr of sugar,20gr of butter,a sachet of baking powder.
Preparation
Directions: roast the almonds for some minutes then take off the peel. Mix eggs, sugar, flour and almonds, the butter and the yeast. Knead the mixture, then form some sticks (20cm x 3 cm) giving them a stretched shape. Put them on baking paper and cook at 220° for 5 minutes, then put the oven at 180° and cook for 10 minutes.Take them out of oven and slice forming small biscuits (watch the pic below). Cook the biscuits for 10 minutes at 150°.
