CROSTINI WITH FRESH TOMATOES
Ingredients
10 small red tomatoes, 5 leaves of basil, a baguette (French loaf), olive oil, salt, pepper and mayonnaise (optional).
Preparation
Slice the tomatoes with a chopping knife, put in a bowl, add salt and let it rest for half an hour. Drain the water, add olive oil,pepper, basil and more salt if necessary. Slice the bread, spread mayonnaise on it, add the tomatoes and serve.
Preparation time: 5 minutes plus rest time.
